The 110e has a solid Sitka spruce top, the soundboard standard of Taylor’s modern era. The acoustic guitar’s solid top produces a broad range of tones, useful for a variety of playing styles from aggressive strumming to feathery fingerpicking. Layered walnut back and sides add high-end sparkle and midrange presence while the 110e’s dreadnought body style delivers powerful low-end, great for hard picking and driving rhythms.
Moving up, the Taylor 110e sports a maple neck with an ebonyfingerboardfor smooth playability up and down the dreadnought’s 20 frets. The slightly narrower 1.68”-inch nut width makes barre chords easier on the hands. So, no more cramping up and finger stretching mid-song.
With Taylor’s Expression System 2 onboard pickup, you can count on a reliable performance partner that produces natural amplified acoustic tone whether the 110e is plugged into an amplifier, routed through a PA, or headed straight into a DAW. To adjust the 110e’s amplified output, tone shaping options are available via three control knobs for volume, treble, and bass.
